Een wandeling door de stad voert je langs moskeeën en een verrassende verscheidenheid aan kerken, souks en winkels. Amman is een bruisende stad waar het moderne en het traditionele hand in hand gaan. Bovendien is Amman het perfecte startpunt als je de hele omgeving wilt verkennen. Vanuit Amman zijn Jerash, Ajlun, Pella, de Dode Zee en de woestijnkastelen heel gemakkelijk te bereiken.
