1. Antalya
Stay
About the destination: Antalya is the largest city on the Turkish Mediterranean coast, and is one of the hubs of the so-called Turkish Riviera. Boasting the most beautiful and cleanest shores of the Mediterranean, along with the long coastal line of Antalya, one encounters antique sites, old ports, monumental graves, dramatic shores, endless beaches, green forests, rivers and waterfalls. Kaleici, enclosed in ancient city walls, is Antalya’s Old Quarter. It is one of the liveliest parts in the city with shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment facilities. The streets of Kaleici extend to the old harbour, which is used as an international yacht marina today. In the picturesque Old Quarter, you’ll find examples of Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman eras and numerous archaeological cities and historic buildings to explore. Antalya is an attractive city with shady palm-lined boulevards, considered by many as a paradise on earth and the pearl of the Mediterranean. Not bad, huh?

About the destination: Kaş (pronounced 'Kash') is a small fishing, diving, yachting, and tourist town, and a district in Antalya Province, Turkey, located 168 km west of the city of Antalya. As a tourist resort, it remains relatively unspoilt. The town of Kaş is situated on a hill that slopes down to the Turquoise Coast in southwestern Turkey. The district experiences a typical Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and warm, wet winters, which supports the growth of oranges, lemons, and bananas. The lowland areas are also cultivated with cut flowers and a variety of fruits and vegetables, many of which are grown year-round in greenhouses. The hillsides are known for producing honey and almonds, while at higher altitudes, there are extensive pine forests. The weather tends to be drier at these higher elevations. Although agriculture remains important, tourism is the main source of income in the district, which boasts many hotels and guest houses.

Stay
About the destination: Izmir, often called the “Pearl of the Aegean,” is a vibrant coastal city that blends ancient history with a relaxed, modern lifestyle. Stroll along the Kordon, the seafront promenade lined with palm trees, cafés, and bars, where locals gather at sunset to sip tea or rakı while watching ferries glide across the bay. The city center is easy to explore on foot, with lively squares, wide boulevards, and a youthful energy thanks to its large student population. Start your visit in Konak Square, home to the elegant Izmir Clock Tower, the city’s best‑known landmark. From here, dive into Kemeraltı Bazaar, a sprawling maze of narrow streets filled with spice stalls, textile shops, jewelry, and traditional coffee houses. Take time to visit the historic Hisar Mosque nearby and sample local specialties like “boyoz” (a flaky pastry) and “kumru” (a toasted sandwich with cheese and sausage). The blend of Ottoman, Levantine, and modern influences is evident at every corner. Izmir also makes an excellent base for exploring the rich archaeological heritage of the region. The ancient city of Ephesus, one of the best‑preserved classical sites in the Mediterranean, lies about an hour away and is easily reached by bus or organized tour. Closer to town, the Agora of Smyrna offers a glimpse into the city’s Roman past right in the middle of the modern urban landscape. For a change of pace, consider day trips to the charming seaside towns of Çeşme and Alaçatı, known for their beaches, windsurfing, and whitewashed stone houses.
