Deià, Mallorca Spain

Deià is a stunningly pretty village in the Serra de Tramuntana, on the west coast of the Mediterranean island of Mallorca. The village is known for its literary and musical residents, both past and present. Deià has an idyllic landscape of orange and olive groves clinging to steep cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean. A rugged sweep of forested hillsides and ancient olive orchards forms the incredible backdrop to Deià. The village is surrounded by the unique landscapes of the Serra de Tramuntana and is only a few kilometres from other towns such as Valldemossa and Sóller. The scenic road linking Deià and Valldemossa offers superb views over the olive groves and the sea. Deià is incredibly beautiful and relaxing.
